My name is Corale Knowles, and I am an artist working out of Pitt Meadows and East Vancouver. I completed my tattoo apprenticeship in Surrey BC, under a very old-school, traditional artist, which gave me a strong foundation. However, much of my craft has been developed through self-teaching, exploration, and 4 years of hands-on experience, tattooing almost every single day, and drawing every night.  

I specialize in black and grey realism, portraits, surrealism, florals, and ornamental work. My focus as an artist is creating pieces that are incredibly detailed, intentional, and uniquely tailored to each client. I love to add small touches that make your tattoo look and feel ethereal and unique. My art is heavily inspired by whimsical creatures,botanical nature, and fantasy elements.  I love incorporating a range of grey tones, textures, and detail to bring depth and individuality to every tattoo.

Although I have my core specialties, I have experienced tattooing across almost every major tattoo style. Over the years I’ve taken on projects in traditional, neo-traditional, full color, Japanese, black work, and more. I will never take on a piece I don’t feel suited for but I’m always open to blending styles or experimenting creatively when it enhances the final result.

My goal is to create artwork that feels collaborative, personal, meaningful, and magical pieces that my clients are proud to wear for life, and that inspire other people to decorate their bodies how they’ve always dreamed.
